A clinic-based series featuring fun, hands-on, engaging drills and activities to help kids aged 4-6 (typically pre-K to kindergarten kids) learn foundational lacrosse skills like passing, catching, cradling, shooting, and ground ball technique, as well as develop general athletic ability and gross motor coordination, all while building a culture of sportsmanship, creating and strengthening friendships, and cultivating a love of the North America's oldest sport, called by some "the fastest game on two feet," lacrosse.
Our 6U players work with our experienced coaches (assisted by parent volunteers) in a clinic-style, in-house setting, where they learn and practice fundamental lacrosse skills via "gamified" drills and non-contact competition drills.
We strongly encourage parents to volunteer as coaches and participate in their child's lacrosse experience. If you wish, you can simply help "herd the cats." Or, if you're interested in a more serious commitment, you can take the next step and we will train you in how to develop young lacrosse players using materials developed by US Lacrosse!
For more information, visit our 6U Program Information page or see the Fall 2021 registration welcome page via the link at the top of this page.
All participants must have a current US Lacrosse Youth Membership ($30). Players' USL membership number and membership expiration date are required for registration with MLA. We recommend that you confirm your child's USL membership status prior to beginning the registration process. This information can be found via links embedded in the registration welcome page.
