First of all, let me start by saying THANK YOU to all of you. You have made me feel so welcome here, as I return home in a new capacity. In the little bit of contact I have had with your girls, I can tell this is a special group. I feel so blessed to be working with such a caring, dedicated, driven group of young women.
With the announcement this afternoon, my heart breaks, as there will be no, official, MSHSL Lacrosse season. Those of you who have been involved in any of our social media posts, GroupMe chats, zoom calls, and team challenges - know that those will continue. This year has evolved into an opportunity to focus on our culture and redirect our attention to our intention for this program and all involved in it.
Those of you that know me, personally, know that I am competitive, driven, and have high expectations of this program moving forward. We will continue to plan, set goals, and train for the future as well as revel in the time we have remaining with our beloved group of Seniors.
Seniors - you have loved and led this program for so long and we thank you. As soon as we are able to return to the fields, hopefully this Summer - and within MSHSL rules, we will hold practices, playdays, clinics, positional training, etc. I would love to see you all there before you head off to college, as a chance to play and train with your team.
To all of you, please stay connected in the team and parent chats as we are not done learning and engaging just because there is no state tournament.
Please feel free to reach out if you need anything - your coaching staff is here to support you.

Please stay safe.
Dear Spring Athletes and Families,
I hope you and your family are doing well. It would have been hard to imagine a few months back the situation we are in now. With the Governor announcing schools will be closed for the remainder of the year, all spring sports have been, consequently, cancelled, as well. Dear Spring Athletes and Families,
There are still plenty of unknowns, as this situation is fluid and ever-changing. We don’t have a blueprint for the coming month, summer season or future fall season. I appreciate everyone’s understanding as we deal with the questions related to this. Simply, right now we do not have those answers. Any options we have will be directed by Governor, the Minnesota State High School League and our local School Board.
Spring Athletes, we will begin to process refunds. Given the registration system requires a manual entry for each refund, it will take some time. We currently have 1,456 registered athletes. Our goal will be to complete refunds in the next month. If you have questions related to refunds please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Finally, we are having discussions about honoring those senior athletes that will miss their senior spring season. We will get that information out as soon as we learn what is allowed and what is not allowed.
My heart breaks for the seniors and all athletes missing this spring season. Hang in there. Be good and be safe.
